I've just got home from a wonderful weekend with my daughter who is living in the Gold Coast for 3 months.
She has been reading my book 😍and applying what she is learning and loving it.
I told her how happy I am for her and love seeing her allow everything she wants to come into her life.
She said, "I know, but it's not like I don't do anything."
And she's right, manifesting your dream life is not about sitting in a corner and meditating it into being. Inspired action is the fun part of creation.
Her words got me thinking about the common blocks I see people experiencing to living the life they want.
So I thought I would share them with you ...
- People can be too focused on what they don't want. When we are continually thinking about and talking about the problems we want to solve - in the past or in our current reality - we are on the same vibration as those problems and so we continue to attract more of the same.
- They don't believe it's possible to get what they want. Your life is a reflection of what you believe. And what you believe is what you constantly think or have been thinking for a long time. Many of the thoughts we think are not our own - we heard them from or witnessed them in someone else. If you want to know what you currently believe, look at your current reality. It reflects what you believe. If you want a different reality, practice thinking about what you want as though you already have it. Know that you can be, do or have it just because you want it.
- They don't follow the impulse they receive when they get it. By feeling now the way you would feel if you were already living the life you crave, you will tune in with your soul / inner guidance. You feel a knowing of the next step to take towards creating what you desire. If you ignore this message or talk yourself out of it, you will delay receiving what you want. Many of us have not been taught to trust ourselves, and instead rely on what other people think. Everything you need to know is within you. It may come as an idea or it may come from something you read or hear. You will know because it will feel right.
Learn to trust your feelings.
