The Problem with Running on Adrenalin

September 20, 2021

When I met Michelle in 2017, she was highly strung.

I recognized it immediately, because I'd been there.

She was constantly in a heightened state - she had not long had her third baby, was working up to 7 shifts as a nurse in the emergency department, and her anxiety levels were through the roof.

Being in this state was effecting every area of her life in compoundingly negative ways - her physical and mental health, her relationships, money and her ability to do her best at work.

Michelle felt paranoid about friendships and was feeling  more and more alone. She was too busy to spend much time with her pre-school daughter. She worried incessantly about her husband's business and took on more shifts to compensate.

UNTIL ....

she remembered who she is.

Now, spending time with Michelle is like floating lazily down a river ..... soothing.

Michelle shares how doing the Soul Pleaser program was the beginning of her saving her own life.

Now she can calmly help save the lives of her patients ...... and other nurses.

As I mention in this interview with Michelle, helping nurses look after themselves so that they can look after others has a special place in my heart because my Mum was a nurse well into her seventies and only stopped working when she became too ill to continue prior to her passing in 2016.

You can watch the interview with Michelle below and if you would like to watch the entire Self Belief Series and join the upcoming live sessions you can JOIN HERE.
